The materials used to craft our footwear already ensure maximum durability. To make your WUD mules, slides, and sandals last even longer, proper care is of utmost importance. Below you can find some easy care advice to clean our uppers, linings, soles, and outsoles.

Upper – Regenerated Suede

Applicable to: BARK, ROOT, SEED

  • Remove Surface Dirt – Use a dry brush on the upper (outer part) and lining (inner part) to remove coarse dirt and dust;
  • Clean – Open the straps and use a damp brush on the lining (inner part) and then on the upper (outer part) to clean tougher dirt.

Upper – Vegan/Natural Leather

Applicable to: LEAF, TWIG

  • Remove Surface Dirt – Use a lint-free, slightly-damp cloth on the upper (outer part) and lining (inner part) to remove coarse dirt and dust;
  • Clean – Open the straps and use a damp brush on the lining (inner part) and then on the upper (outer part) to clean tougher dirt.

Wooden Sole

  • Rinse – Take a wet cloth and wash the wooden sole with lukewarm water. Be careful not to hold the sandal under running water or soak it completely.

Outsole

  • Brush Surface Dirt – Brush the sole with a damp brush;
  • Clean – Clean the sole with a damp cloth.

After completing the above steps, it is crucial that you let the your WUD footwear air-dry with the straps open at room-temperature – Be careful to not expose them to direct sunlight nor heat. After about 24 hours, your sandals/mules/slides will be completely dry.

Finally, brush the wooden sole with a dry brush – you can use the same one used for cleaning the upper – and close the straps, before wearing your WUD footwear again.
